China ready to help Pakistan over come challenges

ISLAMABAD: Chinese envoy to Islamabad Sun Weidong assured that China was ready to help out Pakistan to overcome challenges and was working to reduce its energy crisis.


Talking to a private news channel, he said that the upcoming first visit of newly elected Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif to China is a positive and a important signal to the world.


He said the visit of PM Nawaz Sharif will be fruitful and productive, the envoy said bilateral relations, future cooperation, trade and investment, energy and cultural exchanges will high on the agenda.


He said that some important agreements are likely to be signed during Nawaz Sharif's visit.


Pakistan-China friendship is a unique example of nation-to-nation relationship in the entire world.


The economic cooperation between Pakistan and China must match with political relations between the two countries.


He said chinese's companies are already working on a number of projects in energy sector in Pakistan and many more are interested to invest.


On terrorism, the Chinese envoy said both countries are working together to fight the menace. He said terrorism is a common threat and needs to be addressed jointly.
