“This auspicious occasion reminds us of the enormous contributions the Chinese people made in order to build the great nation that they have today,” he noted.
Pakistanis, as south western neighbours of China, highly value their relationship with China, and this all weather friendship is the cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign policy.
The Year 2015 was celebrated as the “Year of Friendly Exchanges” between the two countries and boosted cultural and academic exchanges while also broadening the horizon of people to people contacts. The Year 2016 – Year of the Monkey – will be celebrated to mark the 65th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.
In connection with the 65th Anniversary of Diplomatic ties between the two countries, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor would also be in the limelight. The project is a new milestone with regards to historic achievements under the cooperative partnership between China and Pakistan, built over the last six decades; the corridor would further interlink the economies of two countries, enhance cultural ties and integrate regional markets.
From the platform of Pakistan China Institute, we hope to work more diligently in order to boost bilateral relations further under the One Belt and One Road Initiative and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), a new vision of China to build a prosperous Asia.

Congratulating CPC leadership on China’s peaceful rise on the world stage, Senator Hussain commented, "You don't win anything with wars but you win with wisdom. The story of China is the wisdom of science and greatness of history.”
