China Pakistan Economic corridor vital for China Pakistan partnership in 21st century: Scholars

BEIJING, Aug 31: Scholars from China and Pakistan’s leading think tanks have termed China Pakistan Economic corridor vital for China Pakistan partnership in 21st century urging the leadership of both friendly to implement the project for the prosperity of the local people and region as whole:
These scholars were speaking at seminar organized by China's Tsinghua University, International Center for Communication and co-hosted by China Pakistan Joint Think Tank, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Chinese Academy of World Agenda, South West University of Political Science and Law here in Beijing on August 31st.
Pakistan Embassy in Beijing, CWE Investment Corporation and GO West International Media supported this seminar which was organized to highlight various prospects of Strategic Cooperation between the China and Pakistan after the announcement of China Pakistan Economic corridor by the premieres of China and Pakistan in July 2013.
The renowned scholars, diplomats, experts , researcher, media persons, from China’s and Pakistan emphasized to build a communication platform for academia, industry and policy circles to conduct research on China-Pakistan relations and policy making besides focusing on the practical issues such security, industrialization, Sino-Pakistan economic partnership in new period and directions of future development of bilateral relations.
Scholars from Pakistan's top academic centers, think tanks and universities such Pakistan China Institute, Comsats and NUST participated in the seminar.
They said that Gwadar deep port can play vital role of a trade gateway boosting Sino-Pakistan economic cooperation, linking South East Asia and Middle East.
